Welcome to the home of the Cornerstone Art and Event GalleryThe Cornerstone Art Gallery is located in historic downtown Frankfort, KY. We are directly across the street from the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History. Our mission is dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of Frankfort through the exhibition of emerging and established artist. The Cornerstone focuses on the richness and diversity of all art forms and making it accessible to the community. We exhibit work from all mediums and our artists come from all areas of the state of Kentucky and the nation, as well as international artists who need a venue to demonstrate and display their artistic talent. From new and cutting edge, to traditional interpretation we are willing to exhibit what many art organizations do not... We especially like working with art students and emerging artist who have not had the opportunity to display their work in a gallery setting; we want to be able to give these artists their first show. The Cornerstone Art and Events Gallery is a multiuse venue. Some of these uses include, but are not limited to:
Because we are located in the heart of downtown Frankfort near the old state capitol building, the Cornerstone Art and Events Gallery is a great venue for political functions. Our outdoor stage is a great location for speeches. Located at the corners of East Broadway and High Streets, our building is within walking distance of the Kentucky Historical Society, St. Clair Street, the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History, and the Grand Theatre.* |
